Oxygen is one of our main life forces. It it a common mistake that we detoxify
our bodies though sneezing, coughing, going to the bathroom, etc. Well we do,
but the most important form of detoxification and the key element to healing is
through breathing
As we breathe, the body disposes of waste products that may be circulating
around in the bloodstream or body. Notice how you breathe normally, it is
usually very shallow and fast. When you don't breathe properly, those waste
products end up staying in your body to cause problems.
So here is a crash course on doing what we should do best: Breathing.
1. Inhale slowly, concentrating on the rise of your stomach. Your abdomen should
rise next, and then finally your chest. Make sure you are inhaling deeply and
completely, at a very slow pace.
2. To jump start your bodies natural abilities to purify, try holding your
breath for just a few seconds. Never hold your breath longer than you are
comfortable to.
3. Exhale just as slowly as you inhaled. Let your stomach fall, your upper
abdomen, and then finally the chest.
This is also known as the "Healing breath", which keeps a higher amount of
oxygen in your lungs for a prolonged period of time. This gives your body the
amount of oxygen it needs to pick up the slack of ridding of it's impurities.
Our subconscious breathes for us as we concentrate on other things and while we
sleep. Pay attention to your breathing patterns as often as you can, and correct
them into the Healing Breath pattern. When you practice this on a regular basis,
you will experience other benefits aside from reducing stress and inducing
relaxation. You may find that you need less sleep during the night, and your
energy levels may increase dramatically. This is very common and obviously a
good thing, so make sure that you breathe right as often as you can remember to.
Buying an air purifier to remove dust, pollen, pet dander, and other impurities
can also dramatically improve your quest for a healthier, more energetic body.
Air purifiers will give you the opportunity to inhale fresh clean air, giving
you a huge jump start on removing the impurities already imbedded into your
lungs and bloodstream.
