Astral Projection is the concept that our spiritual bodies leave our physical
bodies while we are asleep. We project every night whether we are aware of it or
not, but the aim of Astral Projecting is to simply think "Mind awake, body
asleep".
Running around in the Astral realm can be a life changing experience. People
have been known to change religions after a projection experience. The
distinguished difference between AP and Lucid Dreaming is that we are not
dreaming. Our spiritual bodies are in a different reality, and we are no longer
bound by our physical bodies. So let me share with you some tips on Astral
Projecting.
Meditate on a regular basis. This will teach your mind to stay calm and focused
even when your physical body starts to vibrate during the process of AP. Do not
be distracted by the vibrations, any voices, or noises that you hear.
Try and try again. Just because you didn't project the first few times, doesn't
mean that you should give up. Some people take years to project, and i can
assure you it's worth waiting for.
Don't be too warm, and don't be too cool. Don't get too comfortable. You want
your physical body to go to sleep, but you just want that slight amount of
discomfort to keep your mind awake. Your mind may start screaming to roll over
into your favorite fetal position to sleep, but just don't move. It's hard, but
you've got to ignore that urge to roll over. Every time you move, you are
strengthening the bond between your physical body and your spiritual body. The
aim of this is to get them to split. Now let's list some techniques.
The rope method: Imagine your spiritual body lifting out of your physical self,
and climbing a rope in the dark. You see a light far away from you in the sky.
Climb until you get to the light. Also try imagining something extremely heavy a
good distance away from you. you are attached to it by a rope. Pull yourself
towards the object.
Subconscious tricking: "I'm coming out of my body!" even though you are not.
Sometimes your subconscious can be in lalaland while you're trying to accomplish
a goal, and suddenly realize that you're telling it something. "I am? Oh, I am!"
And it can seriously happen that way. Try tricking your body by insisting that
you have a falling or floating sensation, that your bed is rocking like a ship
in a storm, or that you feel vibrations. tricking your body and mind is a great
way to get things done.
