Chakras are thought to be key points of energy in the body to control certain
emotions and spiritual passage.
Here are the seven chakras that we all have within ourselves. Let's start from
the top of the head.
1. Crown: Located at the top of the head. This controls the knowledge, wisdom,
spiritual connection, and happiness that you have.
2. Third Eye: Located in between the eyebrows, this is known as your "third
eye". Any clairvoyance or intuition you may possess comes from this chakra.
3. Throat: Located in the throat, this point represents communication.
4. Heart: Plays the balance in our emotions, especially pertaining to love and
compassion.
5. Solar Plexus: This gives us our willpower and even possesses power over
certain bodily functions such as metabolism and levels of energy.
6. Sacral: This chakra controls sexual desire and gratification, sensations,
movements, and the ability to accept inevitable changes that may cross your
path.
7. Root: This controls the main portion of our being. It is the connection of
our bodies to the physical plane, and it influences your overall health.
Now that you know some of the basics that your chakras influence, you see that
if you have a blockage in the flow of energy you may encounter some problems. A
simple meditation can be used to unblock your chakras to help maintain normality
in your body and daily life.
Sit or lay down, staying completely relaxed. Look at my meditation section for
more details on how to get into a proper meditative state.
Start from your root chakra, just concentrate on it for a few moments. Imagine a
white light blooming from it, opening it up like a flower. Imagine this light
traveling upwards to the next point, and so on, until you reach the Crown Chakra.
After a few meditative sessions to unblock the energy, you should start noticing
results.
