This section is dedicated to at home remedies, and sometimes - the best remedy to an ailment you can get is right in your kitchen cupboards.

Aches - A warm bath with Epsom salt will help relieve the tension in your bones or muscles. Check out my Bath and Body section on how to make your own Bath Salts. Also take your multivitamins! Potassium and the B vitamins are probably lacking in your system.
Acne - Drink 8 8oz glasses of water each day, it does miracles for your skin. Multivitamins are handy here too. Make simple changes to your diet such as avoiding greasy or sugary foods. Pure Witch Hazel is better than any over the counter skin cream. Check out the Facials section to see easy acne treatments.
Anemia - Eating red meat, dark green vegetables, and cooking in a cast iron skillet will improve your chances of kicking anemia. Many people are allergic to iron pills, but try a multivitamin with iron. Some brands cause nausea, and others work fine.
Anxiety- St Johns Wort is an herb that's been proven to help enlighten the pressures of many mental disorders. Calcium, Magnesium, and the B vitamins will also help lighten the intensity of anxiety. Also avoid caffeine, depressants, stimulants, as they can aggravate anxiety and panic disorder tremendously.
Arthritis- Vitamins C and E, magnesium, B-6, and niacin can help with the stiffness in the joints associated with arthritis.
Athlete's Foot - Create a solution of one part vinegar and four parts warm water. Soak the feet for half an hour twice daily. Also using Listerine or another type of antiseptic can help relieve the burning and itching.
Burns- Aloe Vera is probably the most common quick-fix for burns. Witch Hazel, Vinegar, and Noxzema also help with the pain relief. Do NOT use oils or butter, as it can clog your pores and cause infection!
Cellulite - Mix coffee grounds with a normal hand or body lotion. Caffeine is proven to help reduce cellulite, and it is found in all high priced creams promising miracles. Apply the mixture to your trouble spots for a few minutes each day, and shower it off. Green Tea would also be a great additive to the lotion.
Chicken pox - An oatmeal bath is probably the best home solution to chicken pox, due to it's anti-itching properties. Add a few tablespoons of honey and a few tablespoons of vitamin E oil to help the skin heal.
Cramps - A simple multivitamin and hot liquids will help ease the pain of cramping. A hot bath will also relax the muscles in your stomach so the cramping isn't as intense.
Dry Skin - Use Aloe Vera after bathing. Try adding a capful or two of olive oil in your bath, and pat dry. Use a good lotion after bathing that includes vitamins C and E at a minimum, tea tree oil, coconut oil, the more natural products you see on the ingredients list the better.
High blood Pressure- Avoid greasy foods that can boost your cholesterol levels, avoid salt, obtain a daily exercise routine, drink plenty of water, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and whole grain breads/pastas, and avoid stress at all costs. See the meditation section for tips of relieving stress.
Indigestion - Try a glass of water with a teaspoon of baking soda for instant relief.
